Social Tees took in Priscilla when she was 4 years old and pregnant. She came from a life with a Brooklyn backyard breeder who had been abusing and neglecting her. Happily, after months of learning to trust and open up again, she and her puppies are now all in forever homes — and, as you might have guessed from the photo, her new family totally spoils and adores her.
From heartbreaking to heartbreaker! Mark describes Hershey’s fur when he first met her as matted to “almost drywall level” — so after this grooming session, Hershey got a much-deserved, nice, relaxing bath. Now his big, beautiful eyes are front and center, which definitely helped him land with his paw-some new family.
Molly was brought to New York via Social Tees’ Tennessee partners as an overweight and shy 8-year-old. Her foster family (later to become her forever family) lavished her with attention from day one, and her transformation is incredible. Look at the amazing difference between her sad, serious face before, and the pure comfort and joy after! To hear her humans describe it: “We are so thankful every day to have a house full of amazing rescue dogs who do nothing but love unconditionally.”
You might not be able to tell in the “before” photo, but Willy had massive skin, eye, and ear infections, not to mention kennel cough and rotten teeth. Thankfully, Social Tees’ veterinarian got him back into shape. Now, in his new life as a happily adopted pup, he has one fur-brother and a family that loves a good matching outfit.
We have nothing against wild curly hair, but when it’s obstructing your view (or keeping a gorgeous dog from getting the attention he so deserves), it’s time for a change. Mark gave Levi a streamlined new look and he was adopted soon after.
4-year-old Shih Tzu Presley was discovered running down the side of the highway. Upon seeing him (and that tongue!) running scared and alone, one of Social Tee’s directors was smitten and brought him into her family. Now he has a canine-sister, a cleaner look, and a much happier life.
