Boby, an abandoned dog with cancerous tumors, was discovered wandering aimlessly in Hermosillo, Mexico’s strange streets.
Cortesa-Dalia Gámez, a compassionate animal rescuer, discovered Boby starving and in pain and decided to give him another chance.
She took Boby to the vet, who discovered he was two years old. Doctors hoped that because Boby was so young, he would be able to fight the disease with treatment. Boby’s emaciated condition, on the other hand, rendered the intensive chemo treatments ineffective.
Dalia resolved to be Boby’s sole true ally at this critical juncture. She would try to cheer Boby up and stay by his side until he began to respond to the treatment. Boby made an incredible recovery in only two months!
Boby’s injured coat began to heal as well, and healthy, gleaming fur sprouted to cover his body. His incredible survival story and jolly, frisky demeanor earned him some notoriety in Dalia’s neighborhood, and people lined up to see him!
Because of his sudden celebrity, Boby was able to find a forever home with a loving family. Dalia struggled to let him go, but she knew Boby deserved the best. He is now a happy and healthy dog who enjoys making his new family and canine siblings happy! What an incredible transformation!
