Did ancient aliens alter the DNA of humans? Ancient astronaut theorists believe that beings from other planets visited Earth in the distant past and modified the DNA of the first humans for their own benefit. This theory also found some support in the scientific community.
Vladimir Sherbak and Maxim Makukov, two scientists, were convinced that ancient aliens had genetically engineered humans. “Human DNA appears to have been created with mathematical precision,” they said. Simple code arrangements reveal an ensemble of symbolic language arithmetic and ideographical patterns. It also includes accurate and systematic logical transformations and the use of decimal notation.”
Zecharia Sitchin, a well-known author, dedicated his life to unraveling the mystery of human origin and its connection with extraterrestrials. Just a few months before his death, he challenged the Natural History Museum to conduct DNA testing on Sumerian “Queen Puabi’s” remains. He was willing to put everything he’d written about ancient astronauts on the line for the DNA test.
Sitchin believed that the remains of a 4500-year-old high-ranking Sumerian lady could hold the genomes of gods and demi-gods he had been discussing since the 1970s. It could also demonstrate that the Annunaki gods, as described in Sumerian ancient texts and tablets, altered human DNA.
Who was Queen Puabi?
In the 1920s, British archaeologist Leonard Woolley discovered the tomb of Puabi, along with 1800 other graves, during excavations at the ancient Sumerian city of Ur. Puabi’s tomb had been untouched by thieves for thousands of years when it was discovered in Ur’s Royal Cemetery with an ornate headdress and pair of earrings. Although her royal status is disputed, several cylinder seals discovered in her tomb described her as “Nin,” which means Queen. Furthermore, there was no mention of her husband on seals, lending credence to the theory that she ruled on her own. Sitchin was certain she had been a powerful figure in Sumerian society. London’s Natural History Museum determined that she probably died when she was around 40 years old and was Queen of the First Dynasty of Ur.
Her remains were discovered in Egypt in the 1920s and 1930s, around the same time as Tutankhamun’s tomb. It was one of the twentieth century’s most significant discoveries. Sitchin wrote dozens of books, claiming that there is a 12th planet beyond Neptune known as “Nibiru” that visits our solar system every 3,600 years. According to Sitchin, an advanced race of human-like extraterrestrials lives on Nibiru and is the missing link in the evolution of Homo sapiens.
He stated that this race is known as the Annunaki in Sumerian scriptures and the Nephilims in the book of Hebrew (Bible).
Sitchin proposed that Puabi was an ancient demigod with genetic ties to the Annunaki. There are numerous examples in ancient texts of beings who possessed supernatural strength, intelligence, good health, and longevity. Sitchin proposed that our creator, whoever he is, purposefully limited our strength. He wanted scientists to test Puabi’s DNA because he believed her remains held the answers to a missing genetic link in human evolution.
“Perhaps by comparing her genome to ours, we can figure out what those missing genes are that they purposefully did not give us.” “I can’t guarantee it, but it’s possible,” Sitchin told NBC News in 2010. That’s why he urged the museum to perform a DNA analysis on Puabi’s remains.
The Natural History Museum responded by saying that such requests would only be accepted from “researchers with recognized experience and skills in this field, or with access to the necessary facilities required to undertake ancient DNA analysis.” It is unknown whether DNA testing was performed on Queen Puabi’s remains, but Sitchin staked his entire life on it. Unfortunately, after his death, nothing changed because no one cared to pursue his request any further.
